How was everyone’s weekend? Ours started off a bit rough, but after a fun birthday party and a beautifully sunny Sunday afternoon hike with the dogs, things turned out pretty good! Since one of my goals for 2013 is to practice my photography skills and share more personal pics on the blog, I thought this would be a great time to post some photos of my beloved pups from our walk yesterday. After all, today is Monday, and we could all use a little pick-me-up, am I right?
These two exquisite creatures that you’re beholding are Roxy (left) and Cash, my two best buddies in the whole world. For those of you who are fairly new to the blog, Cash was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in November, so I’ve been taking a a bit of a break from blogging to spend as much time with him as possible. Obviously, time very well spent.
Roxy, my one-eyed, saucy striped companion, turned 10 this year and is the greatest nurse/mother Cash could ever wish for. She also looks ravishing in red.
We absolutely love our Sunday adventure walks, and as you can see from Roxy’s electric smile, the four of us look forward to it all week long. Unfortunately we were so busy exploring that we didn’t snap many pics, but I promise next time to be more vigilant and take many, many more.
